Get started with the Video Game Module for your Flipper Zero! On this page, youll learn how to install the Video Game Module and connect it to your TV.



Installing the module

The Video Game Module comes with a silicone bumper to fit tightly on Flipper Zero without a silicone case. Therefore, if your Flipper Zero is in a case, you must remove the bumper before installing the Video Game Module.




Updating Flipper Zero firmware (required)

The Video Game Module requires Flipper Zero firmware version 0.98.3 or later. Please update the firmware on your Flipper Zero before using the module. You can update the firmware via the Flipper Mobile App:



After updating the firmware, Flipper Zero will automatically detect the Video Game Module and prepare it for use.

Connecting to your TV

Once your Flipper Zero is updated and the Video Game Module is connected, youre ready to mirror the screen to your TV by doing the following:

Plug the TV cable into the Video Out port on your Video Game Module.

On your TV, go to Settings and select the input source the module is connected to.



If you see ”Video Game Module not initialized“

Please note that if you skip the firmware update step, you wont be able to connect your Flipper Zero to your TV. In this case, you’ll see a message on the TV screen: Video Game Module not initialized. To resolve this issue, update Flipper Zero firmware as described here.

You will see the same message if you connect the Video Game Module to a TV without Flipper Zero.
